UNKNWN [@lifeofuknwn] makes 2020 debut with ‘Adele’

The man who seems hellbent on remaining hidden, UKNWN, drops visuals to ‘Adele’.

Hot off of signing to Relentless, the illusive UKNWN makes his 2020 debut with ‘Adele’. He will be hoping to garner the level of attention his label mates Headie One and Frosty have brought and with consistency and the right push that’s well on its way. In his own words:

So we always know with him the music is what’s going to be the priority. Hiding his identity behind his trademark balaclava, UKNWN has made a name for himself as one of the most authentic underground artists London has to offer. He has become known for a gritty and dark style, while also managing to create smooth and melodic bangers as evidenced here on ‘Adele’.

For the visuals he enlisted the heavyweights Frosty and Meeks who recently shot SL & PA Salieu‘s ‘Hit The Block’. On this one the colour grading is the standout and has the video looking extremely clean, despite only making one colour feature prominently amongst an otherwise black and white aesthetic.

‘Adele’ is UKNWN in his melodic bag and it’s something we should be getting more of, especially amongst the current music climate. The track has him pairing those distinctive melodies with the strong lyricism he’s known for as well as an infectious hook that will be stuck in your head in no time. It was the perfect way for him to kick off the year and he can hopefully push on from it even stronger and do big things.
