Tommy Hilfiger partner with Actor and Activist Indya Moore for Gender Fluid Capsule Collection
Striving to advance the representation of underrepresented communities in fashion and beyond through the People’s Place Program, Tommy Hilfiger partner with Indya Moore, non-binary activist, and star of television series Pose for a gender fluid capsule collection.
For the collection Indya Moore sought to empower their community to express themselves without constraints, an attitude that is reflected throughout the Summer Pre-Fall collection. The archive stripe shirt is re-created with fluid fabric, exaggerated basketball shorts are designed with full volume leg shape, and cropped jackets and shirt dresses are constructed with dropped shoulders, providing flexibility and accessibility for all body types.
For the campaign, Myles Loftin captures Indya Moore as she introduces us to her hometown of the Bronx, New York and activists Chella Man, Gia Love, Cory Walker and Pidgeon.
“This capsule goes beyond great style,” said Indya Moore. “It breaks a cycle and sets a new standard across the industry. Too many people are made to feel that something is wrong with them just for being themselves. It means everything to me to know that with our capsule, no one is made to feel wrong or different or broken. Everyone works perfectly for this collection, no matter who they are.”
