PREMIERE: Harry Crane ft. Danny Sanchez – Holla Me [@harrycrane34] [@_dannysanch]

Harry Crane links back up with Danny Sanchez for his second single ‘Holla Me’ from his upcoming project.

‘Holla Me’ follows up Harry‘s visuals for ‘No Time’ as well as linking him up with an artist he rates highly, Danny Sanchez. It was bound to happen with Harry saying:

“I have been wanting to link up with Danny again ever since we dropped our tune ‘Rude’ on my first tape – I admire the guy as a friend and an artist, I keep him in very high regard and am grateful that he’s always down to work.”

We can see exactly why they linked up on this latest one. The pairs styles compliment each other extremely well with Danny offering smooth but catchy vocals that provide a nice contrast to Harry‘s more lyrical and rapid flow. Harry really bounces off the Michelin Shin production coming with braggadocio we haven’t really seen from him before and a seemingly new found aggression. This new more flexing focussed style teases at the potential for the new project to be one with more surprises in store where we see new sides to Harry.

The cornerstone of getting this new approach from Harry was the sublime production from Michelin Shin. Michelin Shin is a powerhouse of a producer with credits on tracks for the likes of Wretch 32, Chip, Nafe Smallz and more. The sinister guitar melody paired with powerful 808s on ‘Holla Me’ create a high energy but imposing base for the two artists to get to work on, and they definitely get busy.

Visually we get a switch up from the fully animated ‘No Time’ in favour of a more traditional video Shot By Red. That doesn’t mean it’s bland however, the track is not a full departure away from animation as there are some small accents of animation across some of the VFX work done. It’s these small details that keep the visuals engaging without completely overtaking the tone of the rest of the video and song.

With a new project on the horizon and already two singles deep from it the 21 year old has got himself in a good place. I can only expect good and exciting things from the project based on ‘Holla Me’ and its exciting to know we could be seeing a more evolved Harry on the project.
