DAILY PAPER: SS21 RESORT
Daily Paper’s mid-season Resort line is released as part of their main spring/summer 2021 collection, introducing new athleisure prints and tie-dye style colourways, inspired by the colours of the Somali, Ghanaian and Moroccan flags. Unisex styles you can expect range from lightweight tees, comfy oversized sweaters and the current staple uniform of matching sets in heavy cotton.
Notable pieces for womenswear include a colourful, yet toned down take on the Daily Paper monogram in Ghanaian flag colours of red, green and yellow, on a silky Remono dress, Rerise top, a classic style swimsuit and a matching handbag. For menswear, the colours are turned up in a bright patchwork monogram print on a lightweight button-up shirt, swim shorts and a bucket hat.

THE K LABEL: BASIK
The K Label are bringing Y2K into the 21st century with a take on the trend that says grown and sexy. The K Label, created by Karice Leila, became known for their ultra-feminine iterations of the tracksuit, and two pieces usually featuring a short skirt and structured long-sleeve top.
Recently introduced is the basiK collection featuring figure hugging maxi skirts and short-sleeve tops as a new aesthetic for The K Label. You’ll find four staples in the basiK collection: a V-neck corset top, a corset fitted t-shirt, multi-panelled leggings and a maxi skirt in three colour ways: pansy pink, oatmeal and petrol. The simplicity of the pieces make them great for layering, and the maxi skirts with a choice of matching long-sleeved or short-sleeved top are great for the transitional season, whilst the skin-tight fit still allows you to show off.

HERON PRESTON X CALVIN KLEIN
Heron Preston has taken on Calvin Klein’s brand DNA, adding his own sensibilities, as well as his friends, into the mix in his first collection with the label. Keeping it fresh, minimal and youthful, Preston says “I just wanted to find a universal language that speaks to a global audience. One that doesn’t alienate but rather invites you in this world of simplicity, removing complexity and allowing you to discover your own style through the comfort and support of the garments”.
The collection features essentials like t-shirts, joggers, denim and underwear that camouflage the branding which is usually boldly emblazoned across their pieces and instead focuses on the cut, silhouette and texture of each piece, creating simple but quality pieces that can form a base for you to build your style on.
