EX-A Studio
London-based jewellery brand EX-A Studio design with modern values when creating pieces, offering rings and pendants made from sterling silver and 9ct gold. Founder of the brand Elliot Andre draws influence from modernist architecture whilst thinking ahead to the future of technology.
A key marker of the brand is the symbol for ‘not equal’ (≠) which is featured in a number of EX-A designs such as XHO1 ring which Elliot says is ‘a cornerstone of how I express myself through design’.
Embracing technology throughout the design and manufacturing process, and even more so as a result of the pandemic, EX-A have created the virtual campaign BLOC:21 to showcase what they’re about.

non eco denim
Another new brand on the block, non is a London-based label, founded by Pete Hellyer, focused on being conscious and sustainable.
The recent launch features streetwear-inspired, agender, minimalist denim styles with straight, relaxed and wide leg silhouettes in sizes 25-36. The name reflects the brand’s core philosophy; all styles are non-gendered, non-branded, and made with non-harmful production that considers both planet and people.
All styles are made from an exclusive white 12oz selvedge fabric, developed in partnership with ISKO, a leader in responsible denim production. Their denim is 50/50 certified organic cotton and recycled cotton that is reclaimed from the mill to minimise naturally occurring waste.
On trend with digitised labels, non has partnered with EON to digitise all goods with a ‘circular ID’ to take greater responsibility for our goods throughout their lifetime. A scannable NFC tag on each garment can provide wearers with provenance and care instructions whilst next-generation recyclers can access circularity data, like fabric composition, to improve end-of-life management.
non also offers a take-back scheme for your old jeans or jackets, to be donated either to charity for reuse or recycling, to help encourage more responsible consumerism.

Karl Kani: SS21 Drop
The first drop of Karl Kani’s SS21 collection is a story of two halves, ‘Work Harder’ a bold monochrome, unisex work-wear collection, and ‘Psychedelic Desert’ inspired by the earthy sand tones and sun-bleached colours of the Californian desert.
‘Work Harder’ combines raw denim oversized chore jackets, utility vests, cargo pants, and shorts with box pocket and oversized embroidered Karl Kani signature logo details, exuding the attitude and flair of Brooklyn streets in 1990.
‘Psychedelic Desert’ introduces an earthy tonal colour-pallet to the first drop of Spring Summer 21, warming up washed denim and classic Karl Kani sweats in soft silver, pink, and bleached sand bringing a West Coast flair to the collection.
