We Celebrate Diwali 2021 With This Year’s Stand Out South-Asian Creatives [@PoojaPopatx], [@aartipopatx] & More

Pooja & Aarti Popat partner with GUAP to spotlight South-Asian women in the creative industry for Diwali 2021.

South-Asian London-based creatives; Pooja and Aarti Popat write an open letter for Diwali 2021.

Diwali, the festival of lights – a time to celebrate the victory of good over evil, light over darkness.

For Diwali 2021 it was a no brainer that we teamed up with the wonderful team at GUAP again – this year we continue to shine a light on incredible South Asian women paving the way for us all in their respective roles and industries.

It has been a refreshing change to see more and more South Asian creatives both behind the scenes and at the forefront all around the globe. In this editorial, we introduce you to four amazing women who have been killing it in their individual fields and deserve a shout out! Please meet Janki Popat (Analytics Manager, Estée Lauder), Parisa Parmar (Campaign Manager, Attachment), Tilly Parmar (Talent & Culture Marketing at Nandos & Founder of Tied Up) and Thanu (Freelance Photographer).

As we go into a new year and keep breaking the glass ceiling, we also want to share our love and light with all who have been making changes in the industry. It’s never easy but it’s always worth it.

Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali and Saal Mubarak!
