Watch: Shakka [@IAmShakka] – You Don’t Know What You Do to Me ft. Chip [@OfficialChip]
Shakka releases the stunning visual for ‘You Don’t Know What You Do To Me’, featuring Chip;
the latest offering from his conceptual EP The Lost Boys.
After releasing the 2015 project, performing at and winning a MOBO Award for Best RnB/Soul Act, Shakka serves up an enriching performance of African dance, engaging story line. It showcases not only his influence of different genres but his innate ability to blend and capture the richness of his cultural roots through his dancing and production. The visual is set to spectacular cinematic shots to compliment the bassline heavy track, in a space as a contemporary and timeless artist.
Of this video, he says,
You Don’t Know What You Do To Me’ talks about infatuation with a girl from the perspective of an average guy. There is no bravado, crotch holding, or testosterone-driven confidence. He’s never seen a being like this before. And in the world of the Lost Boys, the characters have never encountered women. I thought it fitting to shoot a video that was simply about the boy, the girl, and the music. It’s like someone once said “Beauty doesn’t ask for attention.
