Swiss-Indian singer @TaShanMusic releases empowering anthem “Comfie”
This Swiss-Indian singer, who grew up in Switzerland and now resides in London gives us a truly global sound in “Comfie”.
Ta’Shan has already had the pleasure of supporting Sean Paul, Ryan Leslie and Lil Jon in her native Switzerland
‘Comfie’ is an edgy, female-empowered anthem described by Ta’Shan as :
‘about being unapologetically yourself. Not caring about what anybody thinks and being comfortable in your skin and situation no matter what. Creps on, heels off—every girl will know what I am talking about!’
In it Ta’Shan also incorporates a range of genres from the Trap-infused high hats to her dancehall melodies and grime-esque spoken tag “creps on, heels off, comfy life here i’m on”.
Born Shanta Azalea Venkatesh, Ta’shan has already grabbed the attention of UK industry A&Rs as well as media partners such as BBC Asian Network.
It seems to me that Ta’shan is a global star in the making,
