SAM WISE & KADIATA DROP THE ‘EXCELLENCE’ THAT IS 360-THEIR JOINT EP [@samwiseldn] [@kadiata]

South Londoners Kadiata and Sam Wise— “a duo that will always make sense”—drop their collaborative six-song EP, 360, showing off their one-of-a-kind musical compatibility and slick lyricism. The project sees them both rapping with no limits.

360 starts with the opening song ‘Excellence’ which instantly hits you with a tinge of nostalgia as you hear the dreaded two-beep Oyster sound, which we all know is never a good thing. The laidback melody of it will have you wanting to take a ride around London as Sam Wise and Kadiata tell listeners about their current mindset and how they’re feeling. ‘Stay The Night’ has the two rappers sliding on a mellow and jazz-like beat, as ‘Coming Alive’ shows the two lyricists bouncing off each other “with elegance” and slick bars.

‘Last One Laughing’ sees them talking us through their introspective thoughts as the catchy lyrics of ‘Headache’— “wonder why we always look fly gotta represent”—become stuck in your head. The closing song, ‘Outro’ has them looking inwards as they take listeners into the crevices of their minds, with the cinematic beat emphasising their voices and words.
