Mykah Unlocks Timeless Melodies in ‘Long Time Coming’ EP

The Long Time Coming EP, helmed by producer Mykah, is a body of work featuring an endless array of melodies. Released in 2024, the EP remains timeless. It is fresh and features a curated list of guest acts who give a good account of themselves. Egar Boi, who kicks off the album with the intro, follows his impressive display on the second track, ‘Felony.’ “Do you love me, baby? Can I put my trust in you?” he asks in the summery song anchored on log drums.

‘Uche Jombo’ by Morello is blessed with sturdy production from Mykah. Morello uses his tender vocals to beg his lover to treat him with care and urges her to take him there under the moonlight. The tempo picks up on ‘Que Se’ featuring JHAE. Sweet guitar licks by Mykah complement JHAE’s feathery delivery. The mid-tempo record has a bounce that makes it an enjoyable dance number. Halfway into the EP, we get ‘Water’ by Skeelz, which continues the sweet crooning and yearning laid by previous tracks. ‘Keys’ by Morientez opens another door of sweet melodies embellished by Mykah. The song is an early morning romantic cut for lovers. ‘Vibration’ by D3my and ‘Matilda’ by RiNE round up the project. These two songs will leave listeners with a sweet tingling sensation. Rich in melodies and emotion, the songs round off a solid EP by Mykah. Long Time Coming is a body of work that is well-produced. Mykah has an uncanny ear for beats and talent. When he combines both of them, he creates a project that will be replayed for a long time.
