Jorja Smith surprises fans with the video for ‘Let Me Down’, the new collaboration with mega star Stormzy.
Premiered by Zane Lowe on Beats 1 as part of their ‘UK Represent’ feature last week, ‘Let Me Down’, comes at a very exciting time for Jorja – who recently won this year’s prestigious Brits Critics Choice Award (previously winners include Sam Smith, Adele).
Directed by Hector Dockrill (‘Beautiful Little Fools’ and Ray BLK’s ‘Patience’) ‘Let Me Down’ was filmed in Kiev (Ukraine) Jorja and takes on the role of a hit-woman – tasked with plotting against a handsome ballet dancer. Caught up in the moment, Jorja finds herself involved in more than just a murder mystery.
Kick-starting the New Year with an incredible collaboration, the evocative single speaks volumes of talent from two of the hottest and most exciting UK acts of the moment.
