Daily Paper X Free The Youth revist childhood memories for their second collaboration
Following a successful initial collaboration in 2020, Daily Paper and Free The Youth link up for a second collection inspired by Child’s Play.
Taking a trip down memory lane to a carefree time, the limited edition collection of six pieces taps into youth, creativity and nostalgia. The collection features a shirt, t-shirts, sweater, trucker cap, and a car bag. Primary colours take the lead throughout, decorated with imagery of car toys, childhood games and Daily Paper X Free The Youth graphics.
On continuing their relationship with Daily Paper, Free The Youth said, “This collaboration with the Daily Paper family was a special one. It reminded us all of when we were young in the hood, where we grew up. This was us, making things by hand out of whatever we could find – cans, scraps etc. – transforming it into something, cars mostly. It all started from an idea, and through creativity, youth and joy, we were able to make something out of it. This creativity, this hope – this is what we are bringing to the people through this collection.”
The campaign, shot in Ghana, follows a group of individuals going through their day, riding bikes and playing makeshift games with kids they meet.
The collection is now available at dailypaperclothing.com and retails between £45 and £105.
