Daily Paper Reveals First Look At AW22 Collection ‘Identities Rebuilt’

The forthcoming collection introduces new silhouettes, classic denim pieces, a wool coat, braided knits and a leather jacket with a stand-out embroidered Daily Paper coat of arms featuring a lion, leopard and eagle that reflects the three founders’ heritage.

The key colours include grounding shades of brown illustrated with a busy Daily Paper market, grey, and black. Primary coloured patches liven up key pieces alongside slogans such as ‘unite’, ‘increase the peace’ and ‘solidarity’ that serve as reminders of the brand’s mission. 

Daily Paper began 10-years-ago as a blog with the sole purpose of documenting Amsterdam culture. Abderrahmane, Jefferson and Hussein would highlight fashion, music and events they liked. Then they started to make merch for the blog, buying American apparel blanks to print their logo on and sell to their family and friends. Eventually, they noticed that people were more interested in the clothing than the blog, leading them to continue creating apparel alongside holding events that allowed them to connect with the culture they originally wanted to document through marrying music and fashion.

From selling their clothing online, Daily Paper has expanded into brick-and-mortar retail over the last few years, with stores in their hometown Amsterdam, New York and most recently, London. Over the previous decade, Daily Paper has become synonymous with community, culture, fashion, and music, building a global network of fans and supporters. 

Reflecting upon Daily Paper’s growth, the brand demonstrates its maturity through refined designs, quality fabrics and elevated tailoring. With a nod to the past, Daily Paper continues their journey toward the future as they build new identities for generations to come. 

The first drop of Daily Paper’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection will be available globally online at dailypaperclothing.com and in-store across Daily Paper flagship stores in Amsterdam, London and New York on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 12 PM CEST.
