London Lyricist Lex [@lexmusik] Talks Money.
“Money turns the human race into machines…”
South East London lyricist Lex has dropped the visuals for his new song ‘Money’; a track in which he gives his honest opinion on money and everything that’s wrong with it. In an industry that glorifies money and the lifestyle that comes with having a lot of it, it’s dope to see an artist speaking so brutally about the negativity that surrounds it.
With the main scenes shot outside The Bank of England and clips of Theresa May speaking in Parliament, the video clearly emphasises the negative connotations associated with money. Far from the usual uploads on SBTV, the video from the 22-year-old artist already has over 9k views in just three days, amazing considering there were no apartments or Ciroc bottles involved. With the help of editor Ellis King, Lex has created a video that is sure to get his audience talking.
In the studio from sixteen, the once aspiring footballer has an EP due for release later this year, titled This Is My Calling, and if ‘Money’ is anything to go by then it’s sure to be absolutely fire.
