One Acen [@OneAcen] provides visuals for new track ‘Rolling’ with a little help from fellow upcomer rapper, [@HardyCaprio] Hardy Caprio.
One Acen is one of many overlooked rappers in the scene and has been releasing great music over the last year or so. For an artist, so early in his career, he’s created a distinctive sound, with melodic instrumentals and a flow full of swagger. His talent is clear to see and it is only a matter of time before this artist finds that hit to catapult him into the limelight and follow in the steps of many upcoming UK rappers i.e. Kojo Funds, J Hus, etc.
New track ‘Rolling’ follows Acen’s clear formula, mixing a smooth, light melody with a hard-hitting bassline and what is even more impressive is that it is all his own production. One Acen rides the beat with a sing-rap flow and manages to slide a bar from the classic Dubz and Giggs song, ‘Pain is the Essence’ into the chorus: ‘I’m Just living my life, you can hate if you want, I’ll be grinding outside’. However, I have to say, young, Croydon rapper, Hardy Caprio, provides the verse of the track, with his braggadocios, confident flow sitting on the beat perfectly, and is a great example of Caprio’s versatility as a rapper.

These two artists definitely have the recipe for success in their future if they maintain their current level of output and it is just another example of the plethora of talent we have here in the UK. Make sure you keep your ears open for new music from both One Acen and Hardy Caprio in the near future, and if you haven’t already, make sure you check their back catalogue of music.
