Rant & Rave with wellness brand thy.self as we enter another month of Covid:19 Quarantine. [@thy.self]

thy.self is creating a safe space for you to rant & rave in quarantine.

It was the 23rd of March 2020, when British Prime Minister – Boris Johnson – announced that U.K citizens would need to stay in their homes for their own safety and the safety of others, in the fight against coronavirus. Nearly a month into lockdown and the Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has extended UK lockdown measures for a further three weeks, to prevent the spread of the new disease. And as the public gets more restless, endless suggestions on how to fill your newfound free time fill the bottomless pit that is also known as the internet. 

From emails filling up my inbox from large emails, reminding me how they are there for me whilst shoving a slightly discounted product I don’t need in my face. To logging onto instagram and every other celebrity telling me how self-isolation is difficult for all of us…as they report from their homes that are as large as small islands. I know that I am not the only one who wants to scream! Whilst being thankful for the health of myself and my loved ones, I am sure I’m not the only person in London who is going stir-crazy in lockdown. 

Whilst the internet can be an endless vacuum of narcism and capitalism, there are some safe spaces that should be protected at all costs. Spaces like wellness brand thy.self which promote self-love and self-care through their social media, events and workshops. thy.self is a brand that actually gives a shit about their supporters, they seek to support the community as oppose to profiting off it.
