POWER YOUR PARTY: DJ AG and Relentless launch Free Sound System scheme

DJ AG, in partnership with Relentless Energy and Pirate Studios, today announces a new initiative offering free sound system rentals to aspiring artists, DJs, and music collectives across the UK. Known for his guerrilla-style performances and commitment to empowering local communities, the scheme is designed to remove financial barriers and empower grassroots talent through free access to top-spec audio equipment. 

The Relentless party package includes an all-in-one DJ controller, two powered professional speakers with subwoofers, all Pioneer DJ. The service is accessible through three Pirate Studios locations: Birmingham, London, and Leeds and will run until mid-December 2025. 

Commenting on the initiative, DJ AG said, “Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to build an amazing network and have always felt a responsibility to give back. This project is a direct way for me to support. It’s about more than just equipment—it’s about providing the tools for people to express themselves and build their own scenes, without the financial stress.” 

For a chance to grab the gear, hopefuls can visit the Pirate Studios website, fill out an application form with details about their proposed event and preferred dates. Pirate Studios will contact successful applicants to confirm pickup and drop-off times at their chosen Pirate Studios location. 

A limited number of free studio vouchers will also be made available to artists as part of the project. This offers an invaluable opportunity to hone their skills, practice on professional gear, and perfect their sound in Pirate’s network of cutting-edge studios. 

This new scheme is part of Relentless’ Freeform platform, which was established to support subcultural scenes and champion creative freedom. Following the launch, DJ AG will participate in a one-off mentorship session as part of the Relentless Freeform Forum, offering guidance to aspiring DJs, producers, and MCs.
