Kristie Killick releases sexy, slow jam ‘French Wine touching on the highs and lows of life, love and loss

Spilling her truth through cut throat couplets and double entendres, Kristie touches on the highs and lows of life, love and loss within her life as a young woman growing up. Her latest single ‘French Wine’ compiles sultry, sexy tones with rhythmic riffs utilising her powerful range to create a dreamy, intimate
track. Based on the chance meeting of two curious love interests, French Wine explores the intimacy built throughout their exploration of desire. Captivating the audience with riveting runs and luscious harmonies, the song utilises minimal production to allows the velvety vocals to flaunt a sensual, slow jam.

With Kristie having only released one EP ‘Green Street’ and a handful of singles, Kristie’s small catalogue flaunts her versatile sound intertwining elements of rnb, contemporary and neo-soul. Her songs have received radio play from BBC Introducing 1xtra (Theo Johnson), Westside Radio (Jojo), BBC London Claira Hermet), SWU (Rinse) and repeated play from Rellik Da Don (Reprezent) with her music having resonated rooms from the Nike store, Shepherds Bush to Amazing Grace, London Bridge.

Kristie trophies co-signs from SNS x Nike with their community studio programme which saw Kristie receive studio time at The Red Room, Bermondsey (Lana Del Ray, Skepta, J Hus) as well as featuring in an advertisement with Amaarae for Nike’s 50th anniversary of the Air Force. With support from Help Musicians as well as being one of five female artists chosen for a residency at The Kindred, Hammersmith, Kristie is more determined than ever to make her mark in the industry with 2024 bound to be an exciting year for her.
