[@INFAMOUSIZAK] is the newest ‘Public Enemy’
INFAMOUSIZAK drops visuals to ‘Public Enemy’ off of his recent project DEEP THE NIGHT.
‘Public Enemy’ is the latest visual drop from West Norwood’s INFAMOUSIZAK who began making waves in 2019. During that year he managed to get a Stormzy co-sign, be the support act for Lil Tjay, and racked up plenty of views and listens across his tracks. ‘Public Enemy’ feels like the song that will give him the push to the forefront of everyone’s attention he deserves. It helps that he clearly believes in the track as even just personally I have seen ads for the track across most social media platforms and that’s without following him, and I’m sure I’m not alone in this.
‘Public Enemy’ is a bouncy track that incorporates a number of styles production wise – there are elements of Afrobeats, Rap, and even SoundCloud Rap. This blend creates a sound that is both fresh yet not completely foreign. Add to this an outstanding vocal performance and strong lyrics and it’s clear to see why IZAK has achieved so much in a relatively short space of time. I say relatively as he has actually been putting out music since 2017 so he is by no means brand new to this. During those two years you can hear that he has been refining and developing his craft and ‘Public Enemy’ is testament to that.
Beyond the track itself being great we also get equally impressive visuals provided by the team of Will Beach (director), Troy Roscoe (VFX), and Jermaine Robinson (stylist). They play on the theme of being a public enemy and the criminality that surround it without it feeling too bogged down in the trope. It helps that stylist Jermaine Robinson did a great job and had IZAK oozing star quality throughout the visuals. As his project DEEP THE NIGHT came out relatively recently I would assume that IZAK will continue the campaign for it a little while longer. But once that’s over it will be very exciting to see what direction he goes in and how much he can achieve.
