GUAP 20 Cover Star Alumni; Henrie Kwushue Is Joining Kiss FM As An Early Weekend Breakfast Host.
25-year-old DJ, presenter and broadcaster Henrie Kwushue will be landing on KISS from the 9th January to take on Weekend Early Breakfast from 6-8am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Best known for her work on Spotify’s Who We Be UK’s podcast and contribution to the popular No Signal Radio station online, Henrie also famously presented the Thursday evening drivetime show on community station, Reprezent Radio.
As well as being one of our shining stars in GUAP 20 ‘s cover. Kwushue ‘s rise to popularity started with the release of her three-part documentary series called Is Your Area changing? – which seeks to question and understand the evolution of some of London’s most popular areas. And how gentrification has come to affect them.
“I’m really excited to be joining Kiss FM. THE KISS FM!!! I’m excited to be the first thing people hear early on a weekend and I’m so happy to be joining the Kiss family.”
Henrie Kwushue
Henrie also won the Dazed 100 fund, which allowed her to hire creatives from underprivileged backgrounds to work on the production of a series of short films under the title ‘Untold Stories’. We wish all the best for Kwushue’s first day on the job!!
