Break into the fashion industry with the [@fshnminorityrpt] mentoring and internship programme
Fashion Minority Report (FMR) are a culture change-making business that was launched in the summer of 2020 by creative marketing specialist, Daniel Peters. The aim of the business is to create an inclusive workplace culture for diverse voices, with a particular focus on the fashion/creative sector.
Having recognised the barriers to access, in particular for people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, Fashion Minority Report believe that it is important to nurture emerging professionals through mentoring and paid internship programmes that will help them to excel and create a more diverse, inclusive and equitable industry.
Through the programme, mentees are matched with industry professionals giving them 1-2-1 access across a 16-week period. Mentees will gain in-depth industry insight and guidance, helping them to better understand the skills required to excel in the creative industry.
At the close of the programme, mentees who have successfully completed the programme will have the opportunity to apply for one of a selection of paid internship roles at one of their partner brands who include Farfetch and Fred Perry.
