BOILER ROOM LAUNCHES READY-TO-WEAR COLLECTION: CLUB 20/20
International music platform, Boiler Room, is excited to announce the launch of its first RTW collection – CLUB20/20 – inspired by the company’s history and dedication to club culture, and in celebration of the energy of the dance-floor.
The release feels a natural step for Boiler Room. With its long-standing place within club culture and its sub-communities, the company has cultivated a dedicated base and fostered a diverse community of tastemakers over its ten years. It is this steeped history with club culture that inspired the collection. The collection explores sounds and aesthetics across the globe, specifically the transcending ability of music and the dance-floor as a gateway to a different state, away from the grind of daily life.
The design team looked to an eclectic mix of motifs that represent the diverse style of Boiler Room’s global audience. Neon green and shades of red are injected into the collection alongside exclusive graphics named Lovers, Global Sound System and Gnarcore. Each piece plays an ode to dance, allowing for movement in a unisex oversized fit. Pieces reference styles seen in the hard and fast fringes of club culture as well as the visual elements surrounding it.
“Everything we do is rooted in club culture. As Boiler Room turns ten in 2020, we’re expanding our remit with the launch of an apparel range that draws directly on the energy of the dance. Like our events, our forthcoming collections will explore aesthetic codes and style generated by dancefloors, by expressions of identity, and by underground movements around the world”
CLUB20/20 will see the release of a series of short and long-sleeved tees, hoodies, tracksuits and accessories available exclusively at select stockists through January and February including Selfridges, London, Galleries Lafayette Champs Elysee, Paris, SOTO Berlin, Opening Ceremony LA & NYC, Innersect, Shanghai and GR8, Tokyo. The collection will then drop on boilerroom.tv in March. To mark the global launch, Boiler Room will host an accompanying music tour of parties in each location.
