2020 has been a life-changing year and like many things this year, Diwali is going to be different. The Hindu Festival of Lights celebrates knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and light over darkness.

For us, it was important to take a moment and celebrate some of the incredibly talented South Asian women in the creative industry who continue to shine bright. This is our love letter to South Asian creatives everywhere – we are taking up space and discovering role models in positions we often struggled to before.

Diwali is celebrated uniquely in every household, from lighting divas to eating the most sensational of foods – but the thing that remains the same is surrounding yourself with love and gratitude. We hope that through this piece a South Asian creative somewhere in the world can see themselves in this and know that anything is possible.

Happy Diwali and Saal Mubarak to all celebrating – Pooja & Aarti, Creative Directors x
