REUP – THE RECENT RELEASES YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO

REUP has been on a little hiatus but we’re back keeping you up to date with everything new you need to add to your playlist. Keeping it down to just 5 tracks a week was too hard when there’s so much good music out there. So we’re giving you even more. We’re still diving into the deepest darkest corners of the musical ocean to bring you our Crème De La Crème of new releases – but we’re just widening the scope a little because as they say there’s plenty of fish in the sea. So here are picks for what you should be listening to this week.

ZaeFyeHunnitM O V E

This track’s name is perfect because it’s impossible to listen for even one second and not want to move to it. The groovy nostalgic beat paired with ZaeFyeHunnit’s bouncy flow and confidence – it’s such a feel good and fun song.

Izza Gara – You’ve Done

Swedish/Turkish artist Izza Gara’s latest single ‘You’ve Done’ sees the artist take her independent journey in a more electronic direction – and it’s paid off. The song unravels her journey of realising her worth and it’s wrapped in feel good, bass heavy production for your enjoyment.

mudi sama – imposter

Imposter is the first single from Mudi Sama and if it’s any testament for the rest of his journey then it’s only up from here. The indie rock track takes us on the journey of the falling apart of a relationship, laced with dark electric guitar riffs and Sama’s encompassing vocals – this is a must need for your playlist.

SYM WORLDD – GREAZE

The UK’s Somali rap princess is back with ‘Greaze’ and she’s doing what she does best every time. Sexy Bad Bitch confidence and Energy over her signature trap beats – if you need a pick me up soundtrack for the weekend, SYM is your girl.

Ray Laurél – CHARLES JEFFREY

Ray Laurel is one of the most exciting indie artists right now and Charles Jeffrey is just another example to back this up. Laurels powerful vocals float effortlessly over the most beautiful electric guitar. The song is dramatic and heartfelt and the slow rnb twist at the end is just the icing on the cake.

Zino Vinci – I neva Knew Dat

East London’s fave Zino Vinci is back with ‘I neva Knew Dat’ – the snippet we’ve all been waiting for. The song samples Steve Lacy’s ‘Bad Habit’ flipping it into a fun and energetic song about potential romance between friends.

Hemlocke Springs – Girlfriend

If you want a fun ballad to dance and sing in the mirror to then Hemlocke Springs has got you. Girlfriend took off on TikTok and on first lesson it’s clear to see why. It’s quirky and laced with bright synths and fast paced drums. One of my favourites on this weeks list.

OG KEMi – i don’t sell drugs anymore

‘i don’t sell drugs anymore’ is the latest single from #GUAP30 cover star OG KEMi. It’s a testament to the coolest nigga in the world title – it’s effortless for Kemi and ‘i dont sell drugs anymore’ shows it. He’s effortlessly gliding over the bouncy beat and his confidence and braggadocious energy is infectious.

Atlas Azure, Khalil Madovi, Bala – Helpless

‘Helpless’ is a beautiful collaboration between Atlas Azure, Khalil Madovi and Bala. The production is flawless and transcendental and both Azure and Madovi captivating bars paired with the hauntingly angelic voice of Bala make for a track like no other.
