We’ve been eating GOOD these past few weeks – the Re Up is stacked like a game of Jenga. Here’s the latest music you should be listening to:

YT – Nirvana

YT’s clever wordplay over this menacing instrumental feels dark and gritty. With bars for days, YT’s proving to be one to watch with his latest single.

Ife Ogunjobi – Standing Here

The instrumentation on this track is perfect for blues and jazz lovers, the keys and horns lead the symphony. The abstract bluesy keys feel boundless and liberating while the trumpet plays in time with the melody.

Lancey Foux ft. Sexyy Red – MMM HMM

Lancey Foux has linked up with the queen of Pound Town, Sexyy Redd for an explicit banger. Name a more iconic lyric than “Lancey, Lancey! I’m ghetto and I’m fancy!” Now that this is finally out after being teased all summer, it’s definitely gonna be on repeat.

Moio – Open Your Eyes

MOIO’s airy vocals gently wash over you immediately when you press play and evoke tranquillity. The soft acoustics in production that combine with his vocals provide a great sense of comfort.

BAMBII, Ragz Originale, Lamsi – Slip Slide

The melody on this track is infectious, sure to make you want to whine your waist. The dancehall fused rhythm feels enchanting and hypnotic, each of the artists on the track delivers their parts with sensual lyricism.

p-rallel – I Know

The feminine vocals on this bouncy track from p-rallel are from Natanya, one of our favourite vocalists to emerge this year. The production’s summery UKG vibe floats underneath loops of her reflective lyricism.

Bawo – Terra Incognita

Bawo’s flow packs a punch on the peaceful production on his latest single. His witty wordplay has lead him to build the concept of this track around the Latin word for “unknown land” or in his words “land uncharted”, he’s definitely onto a winner with this track right here.

Paris Texas – MID AIR

Rap duo Paris Texas incorporate rock influences in their music and always deliver it impeccably, their latest album being no exception. Their rugged sound is the perfect soundtrack to wreak havoc to.

Di-Vincent – Near Miss

Di-Vincent rides this fluid garage beat with no hands. His flow feels quite laidback but he knows how to navigate the beat and switch between tempos. The juxtaposition between his vocals and the beat strikes an atmospheric balance between partying and chilling with your friends.

sbk – HANXIETY

sbk’s striking flow equip him with the right tools for storytelling with impact and conviction as he gets up close and personal on his latest EP. The production feels cohesive while still giving you a different soundscape on each track.

DEELA, Flo Milli – Take It Up (Remix)

If you’ve heard the original – which you will have if you’re a baddie with taste! – you’d know that there’s no better feature for this song Flo Milli. Her bubblegum style fits perfectly into this song. Two confident queens who know their worth spitting confidently, we love to see it!

PinkPantheress, Destroy Lonely – Turn Your Phone Off

PinkPantheress and Destroy Lonely offer different perspectives on the state of confusion when first getting to know someone. The liquid drum and bass production has a tempo that mimics a heart-racing which plays into the sentiment of the song, as anxiety often occurs in situations like this, and you can even hear PinkPantheress’s soft vocals encouraging you to “breathe in, breathe out” towards the end of the song.

Pell, Young Franco, MXXWLL – Get Down

This collaboration from Pell, Young Franco and MXXWLL contains the key ingredients to a summer banger: a funky bassline, a slick flow, feel good lyrics and the essence of a summer breeze. Definitely a track to get that summer motive started.

Tamera – Diversion

Shifting her focus to R&B, this sultry bassline on Tamera’s ‘Diversion’ helps her navigate her feelings of despair. The melodies she’s created on this track are absolutely stunning as she opens up about how flings distract her from healing.

J Hus – Beautiful and Brutal Yard

The long-awaited third album from J Hus definitely exceeded expectations. His cheeky lyricism, gorgeous Afro-inspired rhythms and curated roster of features ensure this to be the album of the summer.

Mahalia – IRL

Mahalia’s sophmore album is heartfelt and polished. Her songwriting is nothing short of stellar, bound to hit you right in your feels. Just the right dose of R&B that the doctor ordered – equal parts comforting and empowering.

Twyce – Prouda You

Blending Drill and UKG, Twyce’s triumphant lyrics and playful flow glide across TSB’s production. With a catchy chorus celebrating the wins and referencing a collection of designers – Twyce is definitely onto a winner.

Erick the Architect – Parkour

Erick the Architect returns with the first single off of his solo album and it’s definitely a banger. The distorted vocals and fast-paced trap-infused beat intrigue the listener, and allow you take his message in.

Almeda – First Love Song

Indie rock-tinged tune, ‘First Love Song’ by Alemeda is equal parts romantic and vulnerable. Her relatable lyrics are delivered smoothly using her gorgeous voice. The instrumentation really gives it a coming-of-age movie soundtrack kind of vibe.

Tkay Maidza, Flume – Silent Assassin

This track goes unbelievably hard. Flume’s produced this bass boosted, electronic beat that Tkay Maidza beats up with her bold, confident bars.

Jordy, Louis Rei – TOO MUCH

Jordy’s teamed up with Louis Rei of WSTRN for his latest track off of his forthcoming EP, The Love Ting. Louis Rei’s vocals juxtapose Jordy’s rapping on this track really well, allowing for a complementary contrast in vocal texture.

FLO – 3 of Us (EP)

Our fav girl group has delivered that nostalgic R&B effortlessly, again! Described by the girls as something to keep us satiated in between now and their debut album, they’ve left us satisfied and wanting more at the same time with their catchy hooks, gorgeous runs and layered harmonies.

Hyzah – Skinny Love

The melody on Hyzah’s latest single is sure to make you wanna start dancing with a sweet one, it’s got somewhat of a tango-like essence to it in that the chorus. The blues-tinged keys on the production are also really nice touch. His harmonious melodies really bring the track together.

F3miii – FROM YOUR EYES

F3miii’s vocals give me major throwback vibes – when you combine it with glistening house production, it’s definitely a hit. He sings about seeing things from different perspectives over the bouncy instrumental.

NAYANA AB, Saiming,Maniko – Final Chance

Maniko lays down bouncy house production reminiscent of Kaytranada while NAYANA AB’s deep vocals flow through the track with her ultimatum, indicating her situationship has “one more chance”. Saiming’s laidback flow offers fitting wordplay from a male perspective of the same predicament.

Niels – Casino

Niels rides the melodic, guitar-focused production with ease as he flirts with beat. His sensual cadence is enticing, it’s the perfect sexy R&B vibe.

Br3nya – Outside

Br3nya’s flow packs a punch over the intricate, Afrobeats-inspired production. Her latest is summery in sound and clever in wordplay as she flexes her flow in different ways throughout the track.

AshZone, Lotu5 – move your body

AshZone and Lotu5 team up on this fun track inspired by UKG, guranteed to get you moving all summer. While AshZone takes care of the playful production, Lotu5’s dulcet vocals keep the track alive and encourage you to shake a leg.

kid apollo – been here before

The production on kid apollo’s latest track is simply beautiful – like if a harp walked up a spiral staircase, the sonic really evokes the feeling of forever. The vocals on it are gentle, just brushing the instrumental while vocalising about how when heat rises in romantic situations, it can drive people crazy – finding themselves in a cycle, hence how they’ve “been here before”.

PANIA – BURNA FONE

Hailing from Australia, PANIA’s R&B-tinged vocals over the Jungle drums create a brand new genrefusion unlike any other. Her voice is smooth and slick, juxtaposed by the roughness of the Jungle melody.

Ragz Originale – BARE SUGAR (Album)

Ragz Originale’s latest album is a combination of satin smooth vocals, synth-y R&B production and the most exquisite features. The record feels like an aphrodisiac, sure to leave a sweet taste in your mouth.

Fredwave – Sleep

Fredwave’s second single off of his forthcoming project is a complex mix of various sonics from cutting-edge basslines to distorted vocals. It creates a stunning, futuristic ambience.

Amaria BB – 6.9.4.2 (Mixtape)

Amaria BB’s combining R&B and Dancehall to create the softest (but still very sexy) music for women who like women. The perfect music to seduce a sweet one to this summer.

Sampha – Spirit 2.0

The new Sampha is everything we’ve been patiently waiting for. The spellbinding production combines different elements at contrasting tempos as Sampha’s gorgeous, deep tone sings over the top.

James Bambu – Collect Call

James Bambu crosses that bridge between R&B and hyperpop on this dainty instrumental. He flips losing someone and reminds himself to do what’s best for him.

KAMILLE, Tamera, Bellah – Options

UK R&B ladies link up on this disco-fused anthem. KAMILLE’s enlisted Tamera and Bellah on this one, ensuring all the verses are smooth, sweet and empowering as these three lovely ladies remind men that they’ve got options.

SOLOMAN – FOR STARTERS

Solemn acoustic guitar and SOLOMAN’s smooth vocals embark on a journey of struggles in love. His lyricism is equal parts catchy and relatable, something you can sing your heart out to if you’re going through something similar.

Ashbeck, SamRecks – Juice

Drill infused drum patterns seem to be no stranger for Ashbeck and SamRecks as the jazz saxophone-lined beat creates an immaculate base for Ashbeck and SamRecks to lay down their bars. Both of them are able to mould their flow to the mellow instrumental.

Monjola – AM I TOO MUCH


Fun, upbeat release from Monjola is definitely gonna get stuck in your head once you press play. Combining rap and singing to articulate the question of being too much for someone, it’s sure to resonate with a lot of us.

Manso̶u̶r̶, Sam Wise – Feed The Fire

The twinkling production on this Garage-infused track provided by Manso̶u̶r̶ allows for Sam Wise to do what he does best. The song’s motivating essence is enough to keep you going and more – a soundtrack for the determined and diligent.

Kwaku Asante – Strawberries Skies (A COLOURS SHOW)

Velvety vocalist, Kwaku Asante takes to the the COLORS stage for this soulful performance. He sings with conviction about how he’s the most deserving of the woman he’s trying to court, that he knows he can do her better than anyone before.
