South London based, artist and producer – Kadiata has been on a run this year like no other. The latest addition to his discography ‘Journey’ is no exception. Nonchalantly floating over the Geno produced beat, Kadiata pens a “motivational anthem about being present  and acknowledging that the only real part of your journey is the steps that you take today.”

Today, we premier the accompanying video featuring some of London’s best creative entrepreneurs, musicians, brand owners – all of whom have personally influenced Kadiata’s career. “ We’ve been having this conversation for a long time, but representation is important and in this video it was important to show the people in the UK who are representing black excellence, and doing positive things. I wanted everyone there to be in it because they’ve been have played a part in or represent key elements of my Journey ”

The video features cameos from Knucks, Moses of Wall Street Mafia, Ibrahim Kamara of GUAP Magazine, Kofi Stone, Shamiya Battles, 4Stringz, Geno, Miles From Kinshasa, Temz, Samuel Eni, Hunch, Joe Bay and more.

Tell us a little bit about the story behind the music video?

Following on from my last video “Just Because”  which showed the juxtaposition in the day in the life of a working artist. This video is more of an insight to the Journey that I’m on and the Brand I’m building for myself.

I’m highlighting what’s important to me, We’ve been having the conversation about representation for a long time and in this video it was important to show the people in the uk who are representing black excellence, and doing positive things. This even includes a lot of the brands that you see.

When I talk about my journey it’s not only  the hurdles I’ve faced, it’s also about my hard work, my goals and my values, so I wanted l the visuals to include people that I value. I wanted everyone there to be in it because they’ve played a part in or represent key elements of my Journey.
