WHO: GoodR3I
GENRE: r&b / rap
FROM: London

Over a 48 hour-period, GoodR3I put a pen to paper and vented her past betrayals and woes. She then took this moment for herself to translate these words into gratitude as she carves out her own space to breathe. The result: ‘My Time’, a feel-good anthem which takes your mind to a tranquil setting. “Is it gonna hold up when the wheels fall off / be there with me just to put it back together, any weather” she sings as she leads us into the hook, “It’s my time to feel right…” It’s a fresh sound for London’s sonic airwaves and one of our favourite tunes to combat any grey day. The beat doesn’t overbear GoodR3I’s breezy vocals with subtle acoustic loops, making it a succinct choice for the track as the London artist walks without fear, unafraid to ask for space while trying to parse out mixed feelings.

With new artists emerging left, right and centre we have decided to create ‘On Our Radar;’ a series where we will routinely put the spotlight on some incredibly talented and criminally underrated artists from around the world.
