Motive105 Renews His Money Mentality on Snatch-Inspired Single ‘D.R.O.P’

Motive105 makes music for the hustlers. The people who put family and friends first; those that understand the true meaning of work hard, play hard; the people who know the so-called ‘secrets to success’ will not work unless you do; and anything that comes easily, can disappear just as fast.

This latest single from Motive details the parables of success and greed – the plans and plots which are created along the way. The visuals themselves are inspired by Guy Ritchie’s iconic film ‘Snatch’, as we observe Motive and his crew venture out for a high-stakes diamond heist. There’s a sense of fable within the single itself, lessons which can only be learned from mistakes, just like Bullet Tooth Tony from Snatch says “You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.”

Each verse as effortlessly sharp as the last, Motive continues to captivate his audiences with intricately orchestrated offerings on every piece of art he releases. Spitting mercilessly over the Parkedup produced beat. “I’m scarping the mould off pipe dreams that never got sold” he raps, eventually leading back into the hook, “If the drops hot we gon’ be plotting from afar”.
