Manifest Love With Phaasiya & So Vital’s “Hurry Up” EP This Valentines

Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, whether you’re boo’d up, single or anywhere in between – this EP is here to add some dancehall vibrations to your evening.

Hurry Up was written for the deepest corners of one’s mind as much as the dancefloor–convenient in a year where those are void of the usual whining and grinding.

Taking elements from Caribbean experimental raves spanning London, Kingston and Santa Domingo, Berlin-based DJ, So Vital (FKA Ghetto Vanessa) has joined arms with Phasiyaa to deliver some mirage-like soundscapes on their new dancehall record Hurry Up

Phasiyaa’s vocals are layered on top of the rippling and visceral beat throughout the album, with stand-out single “Icy” already fixing to become a hit. It’s decidedly raw, just the thing to play in a rave or your room and in the words of Ray BLK “I found a cure on the dance floor, see you calling and I press declinе” – a good dancehall record is one way to get over someone while equally being a great way to get to know oneself.

It’s not the first time the two have come together on a project; 2019’s collaboration, Softeis caused a stir in the underground music scene, airing on radio stations globally and featured across platforms such as Tidal’s ‘Rising Reggae/ Dancehall’ playlist.
