London’s nightlife scene is never short of queer and femme-friendly nightlife events. These collectives and initiatives are creating safe, inclusive spaces for queer, trans and intersex people of colour (QTIPOC) in the capital – the perfect spaces to let off some steam and shake a leg pon di dance floor. From a pyjama party for “sexy ladies” to an award-winning Grammy artist at London’s very own LICK events, this list has got you covered for the best femme friendly and queer spaces in London for you to visit!

NEXT EVENT: MYA X LICK, FRI 25 MARCH

LICK events is “By wxmen, for wxmen”. A momentous achievement for QTIPOC nightlife in London, LICK events went from being a monthly club night to securing a fully-fledged venue in the Fire and Lightbox Complex in Vauxhall. Nightlife is changing and has done so over the past 2 years due to the pandemic but LICK remains one of the leading club nights for queer womxn by queer womxn. Grammy award-winning artist MYA is now flying all the way to the UK for LICK’S next event on 25 March – we can’t wait!

Sexy Lady Massive is a club night celebrating women and hosting multi-genre parties, in the sexy lady community. Their opening event, “$weet One Central”, featured womxn-run businesses and female DJs bringing a great vibe to the London nightlife scene. Their next event is a slumber party edition, hosted at a secret location and for all the sexy ladies to have some girly fun!

“INFERNO is a collaborative club night brought to you by performance artist and DJ Lewis G. Burton. INFERNO has grown into a community space giving a platform to emerging trans+, non-binary and queer artists and DJs as well as showcasing new works by resident performance artists and special guests alike. Curated by Burton they will marry the camp with the underground, pop with techno and the good with the bad, creating an exciting new clubbing environment with a community focus. Expect transgressive performances, spectacular visuals and a killer soundtrack from London’s queer underground.”
