Chuku’s Offers A Taste Of Lagos In The Heart Of London

In a city that is insatiable for new places to wine and dine. It takes a lot to stand out from the crowd. Chuku’s – Nigerian tapas restaurant – has opened a bricks-and-mortar in Tottenham.

Founders Emeka and Ifeyinwa Frederick opened their doors to visitors who would like ‘a taste of Lagos in the heart of London’. The siblings previously ran a popular Hackney pop-up shop, at the Nest. And they will now be serving authentic Nigerian tapas with the backdrop of Nigerian tunes.

The menu is a mixture of meat and plant-based meals, appealing to a broad audience of foodies that have already begun to swarm to their tables.

Chuku’s focus on what they call ‘chop, chat and chill’ in order to create a comfortable and lively environment where guests are able to share their meals and relax in the beautiful millennial pink setting.

Though there are many West-African cuisine restaurants that have opened up in London, in recent years. Chuku’s combines the traditional Spanish ‘tapas’ with authentic Nigerian meals, to create a unique experience of quality food, experience, and service.
