[@carelessUK] Shares Two Pack Gem, BROWNSATURDAY and ESQUIVER available on all platforms

Careless started sharing his music with the public in 2015, the year of white Air Forces, Ye’s distressed basics and LL Cool J hosting the Grammys. 2015 felt like a pivotal year in music, setting us up for a new era with artists like Careless laying the groundwork for their career.

BROWNSATURDAY (prod. Ruben Joy) and ESQUIVER (prod 4Stringsz) narrate the experience of love from a personal perspective, with lyrics like “I complement you on minor things, like how make curry goat with rice peas” and “Tell me why you keep dodging, dodging’’. His flow is prominent in the mix, adding clarity to the underlying narrative. Calling on love Careless reaches for something deeper than what’s found at the surface of his psyche, taking listeners down the stream of thoughts.

From the lively borough of Hackney Careless has been organically evolving his sound through life’s experiences and an apparent natural flair for music. 2020’s rerelease of “PNV” was the first time he saw proper recognition for his work. Guest appearance included Frenzy on “Murder Mile” and AyChibs for “Grounded”, both of which gave insight into the versatile essence of Carless’ musicality as he reaches beyond the confines of R&B.

First available on Soundcloud in 2017 the East London artist has now made the EP accessible on all streaming platforms; so there’s really no excuse to miss out on this one. Listen below.
