Making his official debut at Paris fashion week the Nigerian designer created a show-stopping eclectic and varied collection grabbing the attention of individuals from all over the world. His combination of Nigerian influence and fabric as well as part of his Austrian upbringing and materials from Austria, including lace, made for a transcultural collection illustrating to Paris and the world where fashion is headed with designers collecting influence from different cultures around the world.

As the LVMH prize finalist, this past September Ize has gained momentum, building on his refined style whilst still keeping his signature looks, incorporating handwoven checkered traditional Nigerian fabric. Ize has taken the fabric called Asoke to global heights being worn by one of the most recognised and influential models Naomi Campbell as well as model and activist founder of Girl Talk Adwoa Aboah. The 29-year-old designer who usually does menswear pieces showcased both menswear and womenswear with a large part of the collection appearing unisex and interchangeable with an androgynous quality and tone.
