The Girls of The Receipts Podcast are the Agony Sisters You Didn’t Know You Needed.

Since it’s launch in 2016, Tolani (Tolly) Shoneye, Milena Sanchez and Audrey Indome have skyrocketed to the top of podcast records in the U.K with their witty banter and no filter confessionals. Nothing is off-limits on The Receipts podcast and the dynamic trio invites their listeners in, to share their secrets and concerns about love, career and family once a week.

In a world of uncontrollable ‘cancel culture’, it is refreshing to hear the honest opinion and advice from women who are so much like our sisters or friends. What was formally known as kitchen table talk is now broadcasted to women and girls all over the world. Tolly, Milena and Audrey’s willingness to share their personal experiences has been the unique selling point that has made so many fall in love with the show.

Believe it or not, the three women met on twitter. After accepting a challenge from a male podcaster from the show 3 Shots of Tequila, made a statement that claimed that women couldn’t do a show that was authentic and straight to the point. This year they’ll be celebrating their 100th episode and growing success for their straight-talking, fiercely funny and unashamedly honest podcast platform that they’ve grown from the ground up.

The bubbly trio has sold-out live shows in London and Birmingham, they joined BBC 1extra for a Sunday spot at 9pm. And have featured guests on their show like TV and radio presenter Maya Jama and singer Ray BLK.  Every Wednesday, thousands of subscribers tune in to Spotify to hear the latest on these women’s opinions on current hot topics that are affecting women today. They are the result of what diversity can do to an industry and a phenomenal example of the promising future of millennial women.
