 It’s been an amazing week filled with fresh releases. Here are some of our favourites! 

Bayanni – Low Waist 

Bayanni’s latest single ‘Low Waist’ is a vibrant and infectiously catchy track which is filled with modern Afrobeats at its core. The irresistible rhythms, catchy hook, and melodies work so well with Bayanni’s sultry vocals. 

DEELA – Is This On..? EP

Lagos-born rapper DEELA is known for her assertive lyrics and captivatingly catchy cadence. Drawing inspiration from her real-life experiences, her sound is a fusion of Trap and Hip-Hop. Her second project ‘Is This On..?’ solidifies her place as one of the artists to watch out for.

Gabi Goldman – 2 Hard 2

Swedish singer/songwriter Gabi Goldman’s latest single ‘2 Hard 2’ is a fresh take on the Pop/R&B sound. Gabi combines sleek, sensual melodies with lyrics that anyone can relate to.

Kvngs – Side Eye 

After the release of ‘Rest My Case’, Afro-Wave artist Kvngs has returned with his latest offering ‘Side Eye’. ‘Side Eye’ is a blend of Afro-Pop, R&B and UK sounds.

Natanya – Sorrow At Sunrise EP

Following on from the release of her single ‘Raining Tomorrow’, Natanya has returned with her latest offering ‘Sorrow At Sunrise’. This EP is filled with her witty lyricism and her signature style. 

No Guidnce – SPICY EP 

No Guidnce are on a roll with the release of their second project this year titled ‘SPICY’. Just like their previous EP ‘Is It A Crime?’, ‘SPICY’ has four perfectly crafted old-school inspired R&B tracks. 

Neema Nekesa – Private 

‘Private’ is the latest single from Rotterdam-based artist Neema Nekesa. ‘Private’ is a beautiful blend of R&B and Neosoul.

Not3s – Son Of The Soil EP

Afroswing rapper/singer Not3s has returned to the scene with his latest EP ‘Son Of The Soil’. Birthed from a trip to Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti’s grave site in Lagos (Nigeria), Not3s was told by Bankulli (Prominent Afrobeats figure & Grammy nominated artist) to continue the Afrobeats legacy as a ‘son of the soil’. With features from Afro-Grime sensation Odumodublvck, Afrobeats star Mayorkun and British R&B singer/songwriter Hamzaa, this project definitely takes you back to Not3s’ roots.

NSG – Nella Rose 

NSG’s latest single ‘Nella Rose’ is inspired by YouTuber/Presenter Nella Rose. This upbeat, Afrobeats single is from their forthcoming debut album titled ‘Area Boyz which will be released on the 20th of October 2023. 

Obongjayar – Who Let Him In

Eclectic artist Obongjayar’s latest single ‘Who Let Him In’ is a sonic blend of different genres. With Afrobeats-inspired lyrics, the Karma Kid and Kwes Darko produced single speaks to Obongjayar’s creativity and artistry. 

Perezthebully – Confusion

Tottenham native Perezthebully has released her newest offering ‘Confusion’. The new star brings a new spin to Neo-Soul and R&B.

Rio Rainz – Dancing In The Dark

Alt-R&B artist Rio Rainz creates the most melodic, emotionally-charged music and ‘Dancing In The Dark’ is not an exception. The Dom Valentino-produced record is such a well-crafted tune that will give you all the feels. 

Victony &  AV – Jaga Jaga 

Nigerian stars Victony and AV team up on their latest release ‘Jaga Jaga’. The mellow KTIZO-produced beat goes perfectly with the thoughtful lyrics and smooth vocals. 

Zino Vinci – Tamagotchi Crocs 

Newham native Zino Vinci has released his latest single ‘Tamagotchi Crocs’. The upbeat rap single has a catchy beat and witty lyrics to match. 

Zubi – Lifestyle 

‘Lifestyle’ is a beautifully crafted single with a blend of R&B and Dancehall feel. The smooth vocals by Zubi match the Iordan Adrian-produced beat. 

Mansour – DO YOU GET IT EP

Paris-based creative Mansour has released his anticipated EP titled ‘DO YOU GET IT’. Drawing inspiration from the UK underground scene, African music and Brazilian rhythms, this eclectic EP is a melting pot of sounds. With features from Len, BXKS, Rxlls, Sam Wise and Odunsi (The Engine), ‘DO YOU GET IT’ makes for a great listen. 

PinkPantheress – Mosquito 

‘Mosquito’ is the latest single from singer/songwriter PinkPantheress. Known for her upbeat, 2-Step Garage/Alt-Pop sound, ‘Mosquito’ doesn’t disappoint. 

J Sanc – I Want U!

J Sanc’s second single of the year is ‘I Want U!’. This upbeat single has elements of Garage along with soulful vocals to match.
