Nike x Corteiz – Biggest Brand Collab of The Year? [@crtzrtw]

On Monday 16th January, streetwear brand Corteiz projected its logo onto the Nike flagship store on Oxford Street, igniting rumours of a collaboration between London based streetwear brand Corteiz, and Nike, arguably the biggest sportswear brand in the world.

Those who saw the renowned Corteiz Alcatraz logo were quick to share it on Tik Tok, Instagram and Twitter. Many assumed it was just another one of Clint’s guerrilla marketing strategies, some even suggesting it was impossible for the two brands to be working together due to ‘legal disputes’ they might’ve had in the past. As we know, Clint has caused many a social media controversy especially following the Bolo Exchange or his 99p cargo sale

Last night however, any speculation was put to bed. It was confirmed – the Corteiz and Nike collaboration is official. The same projection of the Corteiz logo appeared on the Nike flagship store in Oxford Circus last night. This time, it was joined by the Nike logo, with the customary ‘x’, now a well-recognised symbol of collaboration, in between the two logos. Nike also shared a picture of Clint outside the flagship store on their Instagram.

People are already suggesting this may be one of the highest-profile collaborations of 2023. Clint does not shy away from a collaboration. In the past he has worked with UK streetwear label Soho Yacht Club and Nigerian brand Motherlan. Most recently, Corteiz and Mancunian rapper Meekz teamed up to release a T-shirt and balaclava range. However, this is definitely the brand’s biggest collaboration yet.

Right now, we have very few details about what the collaboration will be. But we will be sure to keep you updated!

What we can say for sure is that as Corteiz continues to grow, it is clear Clint is on a mission to indeed Rule The World.
