Calling all venue owners, promoters and organisers [@bbcmusic] wants you to be involved in The Biggest Weekend Fringe

The BBC want as many local and independent venues to get inovled in the programme and curate live music under The Biggest Weekend Fringe umbrella.

Part of their Biggest Weekend festival, the Fringe looks to celebrate the music scene across the UK, sharing the nations passion and enthusiasm for new and emerging music.

Events will run between 18th – 28th of May 2018, and is open to any UK music venue, promoter or organiser who wants to get involved. Your event should reflect the UK’s diverse music scenes and genres, from indie to grime, and DJs to spoken word.

To apply you must:

  • Be located in the UK
  • Be in possession of the relevant licences and insurance to run the event
  • Be able to run the event between the 18th – 28th  May 2018

All events taking place will be able to use The Biggest Weekend Fringe branding and shall be listed as an official BBC Fringe event on their pages and Skiddle along with other listing and ticket providers.

Event registration will close at 23:59 on the 4th May 2018.
