The leadership conference for black professionals is back this October

The BYP Network’s leadership conference is returning for its fifth year on the 5th October. This conference is the opportunity for thousands of black professionals and allies to learn from the people who are trailblazing within their industry. The conference boasts an impressive line-up: presenter Will Njobvu will be leading the conference alongside 40 speakers ranging from artists, political figureheads, tech entrepreneurs and more.

This year’s theme ‘Intentional Steps’ will be building on the groundwork laid by last year’s conference, themed ‘Knowledge is Power’. While the theme may be different the mission is the same. The conference aims to equip black professionals for success by exposing them to the tricks of the trade.

To ensure that people across the globe can attend, the conference will adopt a hybrid format. It will take place at the Leonardo Hotel in Tower Hill but guests can also attend virtually. Tickets are £149 for in-person attendance but virtual tickets are free and both can be reserved here.

Former GB Athlete, Kike Oniwinde Agoro, founded the BYP network after 2016’s BLM protests to elevate the status of the Black professional. In a short space of time, BYP has helped millions of Black professionals advance their careers. Their strategy ranges from consulting corporations, developing cutting-edge platforms to their annual conference. Ultimately, the goal is to address the need for “diversity, inclusion and visibility” as Agoro said.
