New free event alert: Lobby Lates at One Hundred Shoreditch

If like me you were an Ace Hotel regular back in the day, you’ll remember the beautifully spacious and bright spaces inside, and the iconic parties. Now that Ace Hotel is no more, One Hundred Shoreditch is breathing new life into the gorgeous space on 100 Shoreditch High Street.

Earlier this month GUAP had the privilege of hosting a fashion film screening in their sleek One Hundred Room on the top floor, with panoramic views of the city. It was an amazing event with exclusive screenings of fashion films from emerging designers and directors, with a panel and inspiring Q&A session.

If you missed the event, not to worry because tonight, One Hundred are launching their Lobby Lates series. Every Thursday and Friday 7-11pm in the Lobby bar there’ll be a DJ takeover and £10 cocktails. Tonight’s takeover will be by none other than Donnie Sunshine, whose DJ sets transcend genres, sliding through an array of musical eras and sounds, reintroducing forgotten cult classics as well as debuting current niche selections. Donnie runs a brand/club night called To The Left which can be described as an ethereal wonderland scored by Alt RnB/HipHop, Future Beats, Progressive Soul, Alte, Vogue, Electronic, Disco & Hidden Gems.

Friday Lobby Lates will be hosted by Girls Cant DJ, a collective that platforms women and non-binary DJs. This Friday’s DJ will be Rivah, DJ and Rinse FM broadcaster who also has her own popular night 079ME.
