Future Start-Up Now Founders Award 10 Business Owners £5000 each
In just a few short weeks, the first round of Future Start-Up Now-Founders has come to an end. This programme was set to award ten grants, to budding businesses in need of some support to their ideas to the next level. In light of the Covid:19 pandemic, the programme was hosted via zoom and finalists had four minutes to pitch their golden ideas to a panel of judges. London’s leading self-made entrepreneurs, which included our very own Founder of GUAP; Ibrahim Kamara. Ayesha Fatima – Purrygood is your one-stop-shop for a physical copy of a personalised meme.
Sara Berkai – Ambesa enables children to build the world they want to live in, through our STEM toy kits and workshops.
Tianna Johnson – Black Girls Camping Trip provides tailored outdoor retreats for Black womxn and non-binary people in the UK.
Elizabeth Blege – EFITTER is a fashion-tech company aiming to solve e-commerce’s biggest problems, starting with the issue of sizing.
