Check Out These Films & Shows, To Learn About The LGBTQ+ Experience of Black & Brown People
Pride 2020 is a unique one. The annual marches all over the U.K have been canceled due to the Covid:19 pandemic and many have had to take to their bedrooms and not the streets, to rock their pride colours in celebration of Pride. This year, Pride came at a time where millions were not only being affected by the Covid:19 pandemic but also the rise of the BLM protests, which sparked the largest level of civil unrest the world has ever seen. The LGBTQ+ community called for diversity within the intersections of their own community. Where the experiences of black and brown members of the LGBTQ+ have been glossed over in its history and on popular media.
