Media Platform EveryStylishGirl Hosts ‘Sip N’ Slay’ A Branding Digital Conference for Women Of Colour
With alot more free time on our hands, many of us have been taking the time to rediscover old passions and reignite their flames as well as taking up completely new hobbies and skills. Platforms like EveryStylishGirl are bringing women ready to boss up one step closer to achieving their desired goals. EveryStylishGirl is a media company dedicated to empowering women of colour through inclusive content on their social media platforms, events, training programs and providing career insight and opportunities.

Since launching the concept of Sip N’ Slay the company have empowered and helped over 800 women gain skills necessary to get opportunities to work in the media industry and even amid the coronavirus EveryStylishGirl continues to provide those opportunities that are desperately needed for women of colour to get their feet in the right doors and not only survive these times but come out thriving.
Last Sunday the company hosted Sip N’ Slay a networking conference designed for women of colour to learn, grow and connect to other liked minded women through a digital space. As noted by many of the women who attended the event, the interesting panellists and schedule of the day was so immersive they almost forgot it was virtual. The conference focused on branding hosting seminar-style talks and networking sessions. The line up was incredible with a range of professional women of colour within the media industry giving tips and talks on their area of expertise. The panel included New York Magazine’s Social Editor and EveryStylishGirl CEO/Founder Nana Agyemang, Vogue Associate Market Editor Naomi Elizee, The Zoe Report Senior Fashion Editor Mecca Williams, Refinery29 Social Strategy Lead Laurise McMillian, Style and Beauty Blogger Kia Marie, Bravo and E! Director of Entertainment Communications and CultureCon and The Creative Collective NYC Founder Imani Ellis, and MEFeater CEO Gabrielle Amani.
With the understanding that many people may not have access to getting the information or help needed to jump start their career or their general well being to live a good life, Sip N’ Slay donated s portion of proceeds to the Bronx Oncology Living Daily (BOLD) Program . The BOLD program offers free counseling, support services, wellness workshops, educational sessions, and peer support to people with any type of cancer diagnosis.
