Meet 3 youth who are using their influence to make the world a better place
Young people all over the country are creating grass roots change within their community and influencing their peers to follow their lead. We caught up with, Hezron, Moses and Mariam, 3 changemakers to find out how they are helping young people in their local area.
Hezron, 29, is a reformed gang member from Birmingham who tours around the country sharing his story with other young people who may be prone to going down the same path he did, showing them there are other options.
Moses. 19, is from London who noticed the lack of recreational spaces for young people in his area, prompting them to have to travel to other potentially unsafe areas to do simple things like play some ball. So in partnership with NCS he built a new and improved basketball court for the youth in his area.
Mariam, 17, from Manchester is an advocate for giving young people spaces in which they can receive support and connect with other young people.
