[@Jaykae10] Drops Visuals To New Track ‘Moscow’
Birmingham’s grime heavyweight drops sick new Peaky Blinder’s inspired visuals to his latest track, Moscow.
As usual Jaykae hits the mark with this latest offering Moscow. Not only is it an important record in terms of it being a good track, it also touches on some very important issues. Of course Jaykae makes sure he gives his hometown a shout out as usual. But one of the key lines of the hook is
What you carrying a knife for?
which is especially relevant due to the recent Sadiq Khan, London Needs You Alive anti-knife campaign.
Beyond this the relatively minimalist production only serves to emphasise Jaykae even more on the track. In a time where production holds so much weight into the success of a song, it is a bold move on the part of Jaykae but it pays off. It’s not a club banger or even necessarily a street anthem, it’s a more mellow but bouncy track.
The visuals to Moscow are extremely clean and well shot. The theme however is what steals the show here. Taking heavy inspiration from the BBC series Peaky Blinders, which follows the exploits old English gangsters. It was only right for Jaykae to be the one to use this series as an inspiration as it is based in you guessed it, Birmingham. The theme compliments the track so well it’s almost as if the track was written with Peaky Blinders in mind.
If you like the track check out Jaykae‘s new project which features the track and is out at midnight here.
